The Leadership roles within the NCCF Diaconate are: Chairman, Vice Chairman, Site Leaders, Secretary, Treasurer, Assistants and Team Leads. Full leadership position descriptions and duty and responsibilities are outlined in the Diaconate Handbook.
Chairman. The Chairman and/or Chairperson serves as the motivational and organizational leader of the Diaconate and helps coordinate the Deacon ministries or areas of service and makes sure that duties are carried out. The former Chairman will be known as the Immediate Past Chairman and serves as an advisor, trainer and/or mentor to the Diaconate and may serve on a Diaconate ministry team of choice.
Vice Chairman. The Vice Chairman is the Chairperson-elect of the Diaconate and becomes the new Chairperson once the current Chairperson’s term has expired. He/She assists the Chairperson in the coordination and execution of the Diaconate’s work.
Site Leaders. Diaconate Site (NW and NB) Leaders serves as the Lead Deacon at a designated NCCF Site and/or Campus and provides oversight, leadership and direction to the Deacon ministry team to ensure quality of work and excellence of service.
Secretary. The Secretary is primarily responsible for recording the minutes for all Deacons, Executive Committee and Diaconate Selection Committee meetings and procedures for future references.
Treasurer. The Treasurer is responsible for receiving, maintaining and managing Diaconate dues.

Assistants (First, Second and Third). The Assistants acts as a liaison between the Chairperson, Vice Chairperson and the Diaconate Team Leads and provides first line leadership, oversight and direction to Diaconate Team Leaders to ensure quality of work and excellence of service.
Team Leaders. Team Leaders/Co-Leaders lead a designated Diaconate ministry team for a designated area of service. The Team Leaders/Co-Leaders ensure that the essential functions of the team (coordination, execution, record keeping and ministry) are conducted.
The Diaconate Executive Council. As the principle advisory body to the NCCF Leadership and the Diaconate, the Diaconate Executive Council is responsible for the establishment and implementation of all policies and procedures pertaining to the Diaconate and the enhancement of the ministry throughout all NCCF Campuses and/or Sites. Additionally, the Council exists to more efficiently handle decision making that affect all Deacons and identify gaps with the Diaconate personnel, training, funding and resources.
